Just like all RPG steering tie rods, these Ranger Raptor tie rods started off with 1.25″ hex bar instead of the round bar that requires flat cuts to be grooved into them, hence reducing strength. With hex bar, this eliminates the need for any weakening of the rod itself.

Certain design concepts have weak points in them, and your center pins controlling your steering should never be one of them. We can’t give away all of our design secrets, but let’s just say certain shapes yield higher stress concentrations that make our tie rods stronger than others.

This kit will now include our all-new Helper Jam Nut to strengthen the weak point of the inner tie rod.

Includes (2) FK Rod Ends 7/8″ Left Hand Thread Heims (JMXL14T-770) and Necessary Mounting Hardware.
