12 Jan Raptor Performance Group Steering Tie Rod Testing
This particular trail is one of my favorites in Barstow California. It offers some amazing tight rally style twisties with some long floating compression jumps thrown into the mix. It’s Especially good for Tie Rod testing because you are constantly on the wheel counter steering and slamming into rocks. This little section doesn’t offer the whoopiest of areas, but it’s still fun non the less.
Needless to say, everything with the steering tie rods went great. We had no issues what so ever and couldn’t have asked for a better day. The behavior of the truck is dramatically improved over the OE application. The steering in now direct, braking bumps don’t jar the wheel from side to side like in the past and the overall package gets a huge thumbs up. We truly couldn’t be happier with the results of our new Aluminum Steering Tie Rods.
