RPG is headed to Texas

RPG is headed to Texas

About 3 months ago a few guys from Fordraptorforum.com decided they wanted to have a fun little get together for some fellow Texas Raptor owners.  The plan was simple, get together and put these amazing trucks through their paces.  What started as a great idea and few attendees has gone viral and now has over 35+ fire breathing Raptors signed up to attend.  By the time everything is said and done, Trey, the event organizer is hoping the attendance number will exceed 50 vehicles.

Well, anyone who knows RPG understands we will never pass up a chance to play in the dirt, shoot guns and hangout with other fellow raptor owners.  The event is slated for April 13th, 14th and 15th at a private ranch in central Texas about 2-3 hours drive west of Dallas.  The Ranch is a purpose built 46-mile off-road track, which hosted the first annual Baja Texas Racing Associations Chupacabra 300.  The Texas Raptor Run is a great opportunity for RPG to finally get a chance to get out of Southern California and kick up some dust with Raptor owner from a different part of the country.  We have been counting down the days until we depart. Something just feels therapeutic about hitting the I-10 for a 1200-mile road trip with the sole purpose of blowing off some steam.  We are planning to have some really cool stuff bolted up to the truck to unveil at the event and are more than willing to take everyone in attendance for a butt-puckering ride….

We also believe it’s very important for those in attendance to honor and support our fellow military off-road enthusiasts who will not be able to attend.  It is very important to us that the men and woman of the armed forces who give us the freedom to attend these types of gatherings know we are behind them.  It’s not much, but RPG will be raffling off a set of RPG Aluminum Steering Tie-Rods with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Our goal is to raise over $1000.00 for the organization to help those Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Guardsmen and Marines who have suffered and sacrificed their minds and bodies for our freedoms.

This is going to be a great event with an amazing group of Raptor owners attending.  We can’t wait to see everyone there!!!
