Cab Mounts..  Our Kit mounts only to the Cab, so that the top and bottom mounts move together.
From extensive offroad testing, we found that when you cab and frame mount the intercooler…   the Intercooler starts to seperate.
RPG intercooler Volume 962.5 in^3, Stock Intercooler Volume 560 in^3,  Yielding a core that is 72% larger than stock.

The factory Intercooler aka CAC (charge air cooler) is located below the radiator in the lower front grille area just behind the skid plate yielding poor air flow, susceptible to getting crushed and compounding heat.  The stock ecoboost intercooler uses a thin aluminum intercooler core crimped to plastic end tanks. When worked hard, the high performance 3.5l EcoBoost turbos can over-work the stock core, causing ‘heat soak’ (intake air temperatures rise uncontrollably) and a corresponding reduction in power. The F150 is a tough truck that will be subjected to work site and off-road abuse, so high strength and durability are mandatory. Our gusseted thick wall aluminum upper-bracket and hand made end tanks are expertly TIG welded in precise fixtures and relocate the core out of harms way. This intercooler has 3″ inlet / 3″ outlet.

THE FORD F-150 and Raptor ECOBOOST INTERCOOLER / CAC UPGRADE KIT INCLUDES:

• • Front Mount Intercoooler core with >1000cfm flow rate (72% more internal flow area than stock), using oversized 10mm charge air and 10mm ambient air paths (larger than the stock 6.5mm size) for <1psi pressure drop at 600+hp airflow levels.
